Time is running out for free fitness. Jan. 31 is the last day for Wii U
owners who also have a Wii Balance Board to take advantage of Nintendo’s
free trial offer of Wii
Fit U. Anyone who downloads the trial of the game from the
Nintendo eShop on or before Jan. 31 will get a full month to try out the
game from the date that it’s first played.
Those who download the trial and want to keep using the software
indefinitely can purchase a Fit Meter and sync it to the game. Fit Meter
accessories are available at a suggested retail price of $19.99 each.

Other ways to purchase and play the game are as follows:
- The Wii Fit U bundle, which includes the game, the Wii Balance Board accessory and Fit Meter accessory, is now available in stores at a suggested retail price of $89.99.
- People who already own a Wii Balance Board can purchase Wii Fit U with a Fit Meter in stores at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Or (after Jan. 31) they can download the game, without the Fit Meter, from the Nintendo eShop for $29.99.
